The following job descriptions are provided as examples of the administrative job opportunities available with the National Park Service:

GS-06/07 Human Resources Assistant at Bandelier National Monument:   The position performs a variety of technical work in support of the human resources function and serves as the main day-to-day contact in the park for managers, supervisors, and employees regarding human resources issues.  The position serves as liaison with the Human Resources Specialist located in the Intermountain Region-Santa Fe office for higher level duties outside the scope of this position.  Duties include work in the following subject areas: staffing, pay administration, employee benefits, employee relations, and employee development.

GS-03 Information Receptionist at Ocmulgee National Monument:  This position involves receiving and directing visitors who call or visit Ocmulgee National Monument.  Operates park audio visual equipment.  Provides public information concerning park resources and visitor services.  Schedules tours and give information in person or by telephone concerning the organization, functions, activities and special events.  Responds to information requests.  Serves as cashier for the Association gift shop sales.  Assists with inventory, pricing and stocking items.  Utilizes park radio system and assists Administration with answering park telephones.  Responsible for day-to-day operation of park visitor center.  Prepares visitor center for opening and closing daily.
